U of P Credit Union will have a delayed opening on Monday, October 2 and Tuesday, October 3. We will be opening at 12:00 noon each day due to the merger.


  • How will this merger benefit U OF P Members?

    Once the merger is complete, U OF P members will have access to additional branch locations as well as access to a wide variety of new services ie: Shared branching, First Mortgage Loans, and much more. The effective date of the merger is October 1, 2017.

  • How is my NCUA deposit insurance affected by the merger?

    Upon completion of the merger, your deposits will continue to be insured up to $250,000 by the national Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), which is operated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). You should review your accounts at U OF P Credit Union and Media Members Federal Credit Union prior to the effective date of the merger. If you will have more than $250,000 on deposit once the merger is completed, you may need to make necessary modifications to ensure that your funds remain insured.

  • What will my new routing number be?


    The current routing number will remain in effect until further notice.
    We will notify you when the new number goes into effect.

  • Will my automatic ACH/deductions/drafts post after the merger?

    Yes. It may be necessary to contact the institutions in the future to have changes made to your deductions. We will advise you of any changes in the future.

  • I have direct deposit. Do I need to contact my employer or Social Security Administration with the new account number information?

    No not at this time. It may be necessary to do so in the future. We will advise you of any changes in the future.

  • Will my loan payments or rates changes?

    All terms and conditions of your current loans will remain the same.

  • How will my accounts be impacted?

    We will work to ensure a seamless transition so you can conduct business as you always have without any impact on your accounts. There may be some changes to your account, debit and credit cards. We will advise you well in advance of any changes.

  • Will my dividend rates change?

    No. Additional offerings will be available in the future.
